The previous batch of student trainees have only just departed, but our new trainees are already in the starting blocks. Three will join our team of shift workers, one is taking up a position in the HR department and our Maintenance department is welcoming its first ever trainee.

The five departing trainees had the opportunity to discuss their experiences in a farewell interview with the Site Manager. Their impressions were many and varied, including the maintenance stop and wide-ranging experience of the VCM factory. Their time with us was sometimes hectic, but they learned many valuable lessons. The general consensus was that they would all be happy to come and work for Shin-Etsu.

New trainees
The three new production trainees come from STC Brielle and Zadkine Hoogvliet, while the fourth trainee – who is breaking new ground with our Maintenance team – comes from STC Brielle. The lads have all completed their introduction days and have already absorbed plenty of information that will serve them well as they start their shifts.
