On 31 March the Essalaam mosque in Rotterdam and Deltalinqs held a very well-attended theme evening focusing on employment in the port. A recruitment campaign was held together with business and industry to encourage young immigrants to seek employment with one of the many companies involved in port and process activities. Ewald Bouman, HR manager at Shin-Etsu, was on hand to speak with the attendees about the employment opportunities that Shin-Etsu has to offer.
