Both the VCM plant and the PVC plant broke their monthly production records on 31 August.
The old monthly production record for the VCM plant was set in 2007. The plant manager treated everyone to a glass of bubbly - alcohol-free of course, but that didn't mean it was any less of a celebration! All members of staff also received a very original gift. In the PVC factory, the record set in May 2008 was also broken. Chinese food will be arriving soon, so that staff members can celebrate their achievement over a spot of lunch.
