At the Pernis plant we convert vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) into PVC; the VCM having been transported via a pipeline from our plant in Botlek. This is a production process in which modern technology is taking on an increasingly prominent role.
Doing maintenance in a plant like this is not easy. That is why we do it on a project basis.
